The 2023 cross country team ran right through their meets this past fall. High achievements received for the year included a second place Conference finish for the boys, along with the girls placing fifth overall.
Top male performers from the State qualifying meet were Jace Mortensen, Isaac Wilson, and Ryley Riggert. Regarding his thoughts on this past season, Riggert says, “It’s a family all of the way to the line and a great experience to have.”
The top female runners from the season were Mara Davis, Malyn Davis, and Hayden Kuhlmann.
The team will lose the following seniors to graduation: Jace Mortensen, Samuel Tiili, Carson Olmstead, Zachary Duckert, Brenden Lucas, and Joesph Ricklefs. The team is coached by Pete Waltz. The 2024 season will pick back up in June.
