Algona High School sophomores will be participating in Iowa Lakes Community College’s annual Career Day. On April 9th, all Algona High School sophomores will be attending, as well as many other sophomore students from area schools. On Iowa Lakes’ Emmetsburg campus, the sophomores will be exposed to many different career options.
There will be different options from almost all career fields at Career Day. From healthcare to trucking, there will be a booth for everyone. The sophomores will leave at the beginning of the day and return early in the afternoon.
The students will attend breakout sessions in groups to dive into careers and really learn about them. Career Day is an awesome opportunity for all students.
