The Algona FFA Chapter is excited to announce the start of its annual fruit, cheese, and sausage fundraiser on Monday, October 6th. In addition to these traditional items, members will also be offering Skoglund Smokehouse Meats, gourmet popcorn, and pickled herring. These products make excellent holiday gifts for family, friends, or business associates.
Orders can be placed through any Algona FFA member or by contacting Mrs. Becker, Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor, at 515-295-7207 ext. 277 or bbecker@algona.k12.ia.us. The fundraiser will run through Tuesday, November 4th.
Proceeds from the fundraiser provide valuable opportunities for students, including attending leadership conferences, participating in career development contests, supporting community service projects, purchasing FFA apparel for FFA members, and equipping the classroom and shop with needed materials. In 2025, the Algona FFA was proud to help support the Algona Bulldog Food Pantry. Looking ahead to 2026, funds will continue to be used for community service efforts, student support, and classroom improvements.
