Bulldog Bites 2026 Landon Campe

Written by Alex Brooks

What started as a simple classroom project has turned into one of the most popular stops in the school. Bulldog Bites is a class where students can make cool and unique drinks and snacks for students and teachers to buy.

In Mrs. Louwagie's class, only five students are part of Bulldog Bites: Itzel Real, Danna Mata Barbosa, Laura Stohr, Cassidy Bierstedt, and Riley Schechinger. Everyday the students in Bulldog Bites are figuring out new drinks to make as well as new protein snacks.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the students spend their time figuring out the inventory and ingredients they need for their drinks and snacks. Thursday mornings, the students start making loaded tea drinks and clear protein drinks. They also make two new different matchas, protein balls, yogurt, and fruity snacks to sell after first period.

The money they raise goes to FCCLA, helping support student leadership and school activities.

Coming up soon from Bulldog Bites is a special Valentine's menu.

Mrs. Louwagie wants to create a Bulldog Bites II class next term, where they want to make frozen meals for teachers.  Riley Schechinger said, “It's something fun to be a part of and a good break in the day, something different than an average test.”
