The top State placers in 2025 were Evan Allie, 1st place in 200m (21.68) and 400m (49.25) at Conference. William Weichert got 2nd in 100m(10.87), and Max Nevitt 1st place in shot put and discus.

The first meet of the 2026 season is on March 12, 2026, at the Lied Recreation Athletic Facility in Ames.

If you want to go out for track, you still have time! All you need is a pair of running shoes and some spikes. Track is a great way to develop speed, endurance, power, and mental toughness. You can also get ready for track by going to the gym or going on runs so that way you are in decent shape for track.
