The Special Olympics team traveled to Spirit Lake on Wednesday, January 28th, and competed in Special Olympics District basketball skills challenge.
Ryan Barglof, Gaje Petersen, and Alyssa Moody all placed 1st and Adam Henrich placed 4th. Gaje Petersen says, “I had a fun time putting the ball through the hoop.”
Since they placed first, Ryan Barglof, Gaje Petersen, and Alyssa Moody will now move on to the finals at the Special Olympics State Basketball Skills. The team had a blast and are eager to compete again later this year. State will occur in March! Good luck!
