The trapshooting team had a home meet on Saturday, May 9th, starting at 10 am. Top scores for the day include Hana Perez with 45, Walker Eilerts and Blake Kajewski with 44, Josh Lentch scored 43, and Jacob Seebecker scored 42. With these scores, Eilerts got 2nd and Kajewski placed 3rd for the men’s division. First place for the women’s division went to Hana Perez, and 2nd place was Ada Kortenber with a score of 38. Jacob Seebecker says, “If Tucker was here, he’d say, ‘I figured it out, I just have to stand as straight as an arrow.’”
The trapshooting season is nearing the end. Next up they have a meet this Saturday, May 16th at Izaak Walton. They finish out the regular season with a home meet on Wednesday, May 20th. The final event of the year is State on June 14th in Cedar Falls.
