After 14 years of working at AHS as a technology assistant and director, Jedd Freeburg is ready to retire after all these “great years," he says.
In Jedd's first five years, he worked as a technology assistant. Following those years, he moved up to be the technology director and ended his career with nine years as the technology director.
Jedd Freeburg has helped many people throughout his career at AHS; he says, “I have really enjoyed the challenges.” Some of the hardest challenges Jedd has faced are keeping up with the changes in technology.
Before he started working at AHS, he and his friends had a photo business. After his photo business, he found out he liked technology, and with the influence of his friends, he pursued the job at Algona.
Some of his best influences throughout his years at AHS were the students, teachers, and administrators. He says, “I urge kids to keep learning.”
He is looking forward to spending time with his family after he retires. We hope you have a great retirement!
