PSAT 2026

Written by Taylor Coleman

For many high school students, the PSAT can help them become more comfortable with standardized testing before taking the SAT or the ACT. Junior Eden Geddings says, “The PSAT is a great way to test your knowledge and see what you need to improve on.”

The PSAT is a test that measures reading, writing, and math skills. With the date coming up, students are preparing for the pressure, time limit, and all of the questions. The PSAT will be taking place on October 14th at 8:30 am in the PAC lobby. Students are required to bring their computer, pencil, and a calculator. PSAT 2026

The PSAT takes approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes to complete. There are two sections for this test: math and reading/writing. For the reading and writing section, students will have 64 minutes to complete. The math will take 70 minutes, but students will get a break between each section. Reading and writing covers questions about reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing. Math goes over algebra, advanced math, problem solving, data analysis, and geometry/trigonometry.

Overall, have a good attitude, and good luck!
