As the first term comes to an end, students at Algona High School are finishing up assignments, taking tests, and getting ready for a new term. With the term ending on Friday, October 23rd, students are making sure they have good grades and have every assignment turned in. The second term will begin on Monday, October 26.
Some students may be relieved to be finishing the term, while others are focused on getting their grades up before the next term. Sophomore Lacie Vaskie says, “It won’t happen overnight, but if you quit, it won’t happen at all.”
The end of the term is also a chance for students to look back on what they have learned and think about what they want to improve on moving forward.
