Algona Bulldog students, families, and community:

We have had an exciting and successful winter activities season. We are incredibly excited to be able to continue to safely offer opportunities for our students. We have made some updates to our procedures for attending events at our schools.

With Governor Reynold’s recent proclamation, Algona Community Schools will open up attendance and remove capacity limitations at our home events. We are excited to have more people at our events. With the increase of people, a few mitigation measures need to be in place in order for us to continue to safely host events for our students and community:

  • Masks, worn properly,  will be required while in attendance.
  • Similar to this fall, we are still asking any child 8th grade or below to be accompanied by an adult while attending events.
  • Please stay home if you are sick or have any symptoms related to COVID-19.
  • Wash your hands frequently.

We will continue to try to offer as many live streams as possible. Live streams can be found on our AHS Broadcasting YouTube page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and Go Bulldogs!

Sincerely,

Andy Jacobson
