Algona High School will be having conferences on Monday, March 1st. Conferences will be held from 4 to 7:30. Parents and students can meet with teachers to discuss the progress of the 3rd quarter. Conferences will be held in individual teacher classrooms.
Tuesday, March 16th, will be the end of the 3rd quarter. The 3rd quarter is worth 40 percent of the semester grade. Tuesday, May 25, will be the end of the 4th quarter. The 4th quarter is also worth 40 percent of the semester grade. Seniors’ last day will be on Wednesday, May 19th, with their semester tests the two days before that, May 17th and 18th. Semester tests for underclassmen will be on the 21st, 24th, and 25th of May. Semester tests for all students make up the remaining 20% of their semester grade.
Conferences are a great time to check your progress with your teacher and communicate academics with parents.
