The Algona swim team is improving with each meet. Throughout their entire season, the girls have been bettering themselves and improving their times.
The girls had a meet on September 23rd against Fort Dodge and Perry. The meet was held at Fort Dodge Senior High School. The Algona girls placed second with a score of 74 with Fort Dodge in first and Perry in last.
This week the girls had an off week, having no meets.
On October 11th, the Algona swim team has an away meet against Spencer and Sioux City West. The meet will be held at the Spencer Family YMCA and will begin at 6:30 PM.
On October 21st, the girls will have an away meet against Decorah, at Luther College, at 5:30 PM.
On October 26th, the Algona girls will finish out their regular season with an away meet at McCreary Community Building. The meet will be against Carroll and Perry and will begin at 6:30.
