Worsfold 2021

Nathan Worsfold is one of the new teachers at Algona High School this year. Mr. Worsfold teaches U.S. government, U.S. history, and sociology. Next semester he will be teaching an additional class, criminal justice.

Mr. Worsfold graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School. He then furthered his education by going to Kirkwood and getting his associate’s degree in liberal arts. From there, he went on and got his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in social sciences.

Mr. Worsfold has been thinking about being a teacher since freshman year of high school.  He enjoys watching football in his very little free time. His favorite to watch is the NFL, especially the Green Bay Packers.

He also enjoys golfing and since he moved here, he’s also picked up disc/frisbee golf. Mr. Worsfold is also a member of the Iowa National Guard.

Be sure to say hi to him next time you see him in the hallway.
