Class of 2022

Most seniors by this point in time have an idea of what they want to do after graduation and what they are looking forward to when approaching graduation. The seniors are getting ready to become AHS alumni quite soon. Although this may be sad for some, it can be an exciting and new chapter in their lives.

For seniors, the last day of school is on May 18th; they will officially never have to be in high school again. Seniors take their last tests of the year on May 16th and 17th. Commencement is on May 22nd, at 2:00.

When preparing for graduation, most people like to have graduation parties for their friends and family to come and enjoy this time with them, Skylar Bronson states, “I hope people come help me celebrate and enjoy the food selection.” Seniors, don’t forget to invite your high school friends also!

With commencement right around the corner, make sure that you have your cap and gown ready. Pick up day was Tuesday, April 14th. If you didn’t get it then, be sure to see Theresa in the office. Be sure to take your gown out of the bag and hang it up to get the wrinkles out.

Commencement day is on May 22, the most important day of your high school experience.

If you’re a senior and still have no idea what you are going to do after high school, go see a counselor and talk about professions or set up a visit at a college or job to give you a better idea of what there is to explore.
