Noah Arrowood 2022

Noah Arrowood grew up in Algona with his parents in separate households. Altogether he has six siblings, two of which are biological, and four step-siblings. His parents are Dave Arrowood and Sonata Ward-Arrowood as well as Michelle and Don Thul. His biological siblings include Cane and Luke, and his step-siblings include Jacob, Nick, Devin, and Teiguan.

Arrowood was a former student at Algona High. He was very involved during high school and participated in football, basketball, track and field, and lifting. He graduated from Algona High School in 2016.

Arrowood continued his academics at the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in the fall of 2020. His major was comprehensive secondary science teaching. He decided to become a science teacher because it is the most interesting subject to him, and he always enjoyed science.

After receiving his degree, Arrowood decided to come back to Algona to be in this community. Because of his passion for science and his college degree, he became a science teacher at Algona High School in the fall of 2021. Arrowood states, “Algona is an S-Tier school.” Arrowood feels that Algona High School is the best of the best and couldn’t imagine teaching anywhere else.

Arrowood is engaged to his fiance, Kara. They became engaged on August 13, 2021. He now lives in Clarion with his fiance, Kara, and his cat, Maeve. His hobbies include watching crime shows with Kara, powerlifting, and playing Apex Legends.
