With winter sports coming to an end, it’s time to start talking about spring. Both boys’ and girls’ golf meetings were held on the 28th of February. If you were not available for the meeting or you missed it and would like to participate in golf, you can talk to either Mr. Ford, for boys, or Mr. Weier, for girls.
Both seasons will start on March 11th. The season lasts until the end of May, with both State meets held at the end of the month. The Algona golfers are very excited for the season this year. Sydney Seebecker says, “I’m super excited to get to swinging again!”
Golf season of 2023 was chilly and very windy towards the beginning. This year, the golfers are hoping to witness a warm and enjoyable season.
