This week’s Senior Spotlight is Tayler Penning. Tayler is the daughter of Greg and Michelle Penning and the younger sister of Trysta Penning.
In Tayler’s free time, she enjoys baking different sweet treats, hanging out with friends, and reading. Her cat, named Nugget, takes up lots of her time as well. In school, Tayler was involved in football cheer in the fall and basketball cheer in the winter. It was her second year of football and first year of basketball cheer. Tayler says, “I’m going to miss my stunting group from football cheer!” One of Tayler’s favorite memories from high school is competing in the tire bridge competition during Superstars. This summer Tayler is planning on nannying, like she has done in the past.
Next year Tayler plans on attending Minnesota State University where she will try out for the cheer team. She is still undecided on her major but says, “I’m excited to find new interests and expand socially!”
