This year AHS Prom will be held on Saturday, April 26th. The theme is Garden of Glamour. The class of 2026 has arranged many very fun activities for everyone attending this year.
Prom attendees have the choice to sign up for a free meal. It will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church this year and has many fun activities offered, such as a free meal, photo opps, valet, and entertainment. The doors open at 4:30 and the meal will be served at 5:30.
Once arriving at the school, attendees will drop their bags off to Mr. Cecil at the PAC and then will continue to drive to the front of the high school for valet parking. From there, social hour is held from 7:00 to 7:50. Social hour is welcome to all family and friends with the purchase of a $2.00 wristband. Several photo opps will be available for guests to use with the Prom attendees.
At 8:00 the grand march will begin. Grand march is where the attendees and their dates walk the stage and pose for the crowd. If not able to attend the grand march, it will be live streamed on the AHS Broadcasting YouTube page.
After the grand march, parents, guests, and friends will then leave and the dance will begin for Prom attendees from 9:00 to 11:45. The dance has music with a DJ, photo opps for attendees to use, as well as drinks and snacks.
Once the dance is done, from 11:45 to 12:00, attendees will go get their bags from the PAC and go to assigned locker rooms to change into their after prom clothes including after prom t-shirts, if signed up for in time.
After prom will have many fun activities such as a hypnotist, snacks, inflatables, crafts station, casino games, and much more for students and their guests to enjoy. Malyn Davis says, “The food is my favorite part.” At the end of after prom, names will be drawn for lots of prizes that students can win.
AHS Prom is a great night with lots of fun activities for juniors and seniors!
