The Algona Pops Concert is coming up! The concert starts on Monday, March 7th, at 7 o’clock. There will be lots of popular songs such as: “Rock This Town” by The Stray Cats, “Killer Queen” by Queen, “Fix You” by Coldplay, and “Living On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
The Algona Choir has worked hard on their pieces and are excited to perform. There will be solos by Elijah Garrett and Josephine Gibbs on “Killer Queen” and Nathan Reebanacker also has a solo.
“Living On a Prayer” will be an especially important piece of the night since all grades, 5th-12th, will be performing it and the high school will have three instrumentalists, consisting of Mr. Stein on bass, Mr. Liebl on guitar, and Mr. Kissinger on drums.
Mr. H-U, the AHS choir director, says, “Everyone should come out to the show and listen because they rock!”
