As spring rolls around, so will the dance team’s Spring Show! The team will be having their annual dance show on February 27th. The show will have 14 performances from the Algona team; it will also have performances from Dance Connection, Energy Dance and Tumbling Company, and North Union.
The routines the Algona girls will be performing are their State pom, State novelty, senior group dance, gameday mix, friend dance, co-ed dance, teacher dance, and kids clinic. There will also be five solos. Jozzlynne Beaver and Allee Carr will be performing their senior solos. Adyson Metzger, Jada Roberts, and Allee Carr will be performing their State solos. Jada Roberts says, “Dancing together makes everything better!” She also said she is excited to perform the teacher dance with Mr. Stein.
There are nine girls on the team this year: freshmen Olivia Adams and Rebecca Wille, sophomores Lauryn Penner and Meghan Perez, juniors Hannah Perez, Jada Roberts, and Adyson Metzger, and seniors Jozzlynne Beaver and Allee Carr.
The girls have worked very hard this season, be sure to come out and support them at the spring dance show on February 27th at 6 p.m. in the high school gym!
