Archery is an activity provided by the Royal Arrow Archers Club. It is not a school activity, but it is supported by the school. The season started off with a meeting on December 22nd. Since then they have been practicing for the season.
Their first tournament was in West Union, Iowa, on February 14th. Echo Valley Archers had a carnival/circus themed 3-D shoot set up. First place from Royal Arrow Archers Club for high school girls was Kinley Karels and boys was Corbin Darling.
The AHS athletes competing in archery this year are Deitra Broesder and Karsyn Myhre. Their teammates are kids from surrounding area middle and high schools.
The team’s next meet will take place on February 21st.
