The girls’ basketball season came to an end in the subState final game, where the girls lost to Forest City. The final score was 54-41. Hayden McLaughlin led the team in scoring with 13 points and BellaJo Dunning was close behind with 11 points. This was the girls’ 4th season in a row making it to the Regional final. 
The Bulldogs had multiple girls on All-Conference teams this year. Hayden McLaughlin made the NCC All-Conference first team; McLaughlin also made the All District Northwest Team and led the team in points. Kate Limbaugh also made All-Conference first team and led the team in rebounds. BellaJo Dunning made All-Conference second team and Maya Lentz received All-Conference third team.
The team does not lose any seniors and will look to push farther into the playoffs next year. As the Bulldogs look forward to next year, Coach McLaughlin has this to say following the season, “I’m proud of the girls. Making it to the Regional final four years in a row and winning the Conference three years in a row is something to be proud of. I’m looking forward to having everyone back next year.” Junior player Emma Spear said, “Next season is our year!”
