The Bulldog basketball boys started tournament play on Monday, February 23rd, with a win over Humboldt by a score of 61-54. That win moved the Bulldogs on to play top seed Storm Lake on Thursday, February 26.Nathan Manske basketball 2/16/26

In the game against Humboldt, the Bulldogs’ leading scorer was Nathan Mankse with 23. Jacob Burns followed with 18 and Landon Campe had 10. Leading in assists was Jaxon Eischen with six, followed by Manske with three. Leading rebounders were Eischen and Aiden Engel, each with eight, followed by Manske with seven.

The Bulldogs’ season came to an end after a loss in the second round of playoffs. Storm Lake beat the Dogs by a score of 36-82. The Bulldogs’ leading players were Manske with 14 points, Eischen with eight rebounds, and Engel with two assists

The seniors graduating from the team this year include Jaxon Eischen, Evan Allie, Levi Walker, Phillip Myer, Skylar Ostwald, Jorge Contreras, and Aiden Engel. “You just gotta put it in the hoop,” says Levi Walker.

Returning Bulldogs next season include Jacob Burns, Nathan Manske, Jackson Jansen, Logan Alt, Owen Noyd, and Brooks Kuhlmann. Good luck and have a great year Bulldogs!
