The AHS auto students traveled to Des Moines to learn more about the auto industry and have a little fun. Every year the seniors take a trip to go look at Dennis Albaugh’s private car collection. Students Kyler Besch, Tommy Zabka, Blake Kajewski, and Owen Doocy, mentored by Tim Ricklefs and Rick Adams, all went.
This year they went down on Thursday, March 12th, in the afternoon and went shopping at Bass Pro Shop and Fleet Farm. After they were done, they went to Top Golf in Des Moines, where Kajewski won. They also went bowling, and Mr. Ricklefs won.
Friday they went to check out Dennis Albaugh’s private car collection. Kyler Besch said, “There were lots of fancy cars. It was a fun trip.” After they toured the car collection, they went to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat before returning home.
