The FCCLA State Conference was held the 22nd through the 24th of March in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This event allows students from all over the state of Iowa to compete in events, learn new skills, and communicate with other FCCLA members from other schools.
Algona High School sent eight students. They attended workshops, listened to a guest speaker, and participated in a community service project called Lasagna Love. Lasagna Love was where the students cooked lasagna for the people at the State Conference.
