The Algona High School boys' baseball team held their annual Pink Out game on Monday, July 12, 2021. The boys partnered with their moms to sell strawberry floats during the game and collected cash donations to raise funds for the local cancer support group, the Kossuth County Cancer Support Foundation. KCCSF provides emotional support and financial assistance to individuals in Kossuth County who have been touched by cancer.
The team was able to raise $750. The senior boys, Aaron Weringa, Cameron Rindone, Wyatt Streit, Kyle Simpson, Bobby Erickson, and Charlie Zeller, presented the check to foundation representatives Amy Wolter, Nancy Hugo, and Julie Stundahl.
