Morganne Cassens is the daughter of Lisa and the late James Cassens. At AHS Morganne is involved in Student Senate, currently being the vice president of the senior class. Morganne keeps busy after school by babysitting and working at Taffe Wellness Center and Glow Algona. Morganne has many hobbies; she enjoys lifting weights, hanging out with her dog and friends, and traveling with family. After high school Morganne plans on attending Mercy College in Des Moines to study to be a radiology technician.
Maddie Hilbert is the daughter of Karyn and Dan Hilbert. Maddie is involved in many activities, both in and out of school. In school Maddie is a part of the volleyball and basketball teams. She is also a member of Student Senate, National Honor Society, and Link Crew. Outside of school, Maddie goes to the Lutheran church in LuVerne and is a lifeguard at the Wesley pool. Maddie enjoys hanging with friends, shooting hoops, watching Tik Toks, and working out. Maddie has been accepted at Iowa State University for the fall of 2022 and plans to major in dietetics.
Taylor Kelly is the daughter of Jason and Angela Kelly. Taylor is a busy person, involved in many activities inside and outside of school. Some of her activities include Student Senate, cross country, Link Crew, National Honor Society, FFA, 4-H, and youth group at the First United Methodist Church. Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends and working with her animals. Taylor’s future plans include attending Iowa State University to major in biology through the College of Ag and Human Sciences.
Maddie Rahe is the daughter of Doug Rahe and Steph Rahe. Maddie plays volleyball at AHS. She also keeps busy working at the Algona Manor and as a lifeguard in the summer. Maddie enjoys hanging out with friends and family in her free time. Her future plans are to attend DMACC for two years and then transfer to get a degree in audiology.
Ameila Tiili is the daughter of Anne Tiili and Kent Tiili. Amelia is involved in many activities at AHS, including cross country, Student Senate, National Honor Society, and Link Crew. Outside of school Ameila is a CNA at the Good Samaritan Society nursing home. Amelia’s hobbies include running, lifting, spending time with friends, watching Tik Toks, volunteering in the community and with the summer recreational program, and hanging out with her dog, Benny. Next fall, Amelia plans on going into the BSN nursing program at the University of Iowa.
Jackson Cecil is the son of Jared and Erica Cecil. Jackson can be seen all over AHS. He is part of the football and basketball teams, is president of the senior class in Student Senate, is a member of National Honor Society, and is a Link Crew leader. Outside of school Jackson is involved with his church, Trinity Lutheran. Jackson’s hobbies include playing sports and hanging with friends and family. Jackson plans on attending college next year but is undecided as to where.
Wyatt Garman is the son of Dave and Amber Garman. Wyatt plays football at AHS and is also involved in 4H and FFA. Outside of school Wyatt works at Matt Buscher Lawn Care. Wyatt’s hobbies include showing and raising show pigs, hanging out with friends, and working at the sale barn. Wyatt plans on going to college next year but is undecided as to where. He also plans on continuing his auctioneer company and raising show stock.
Garrett Goche is the son of Ed and Shannon Goche. At AHS, Garrett is on the basketball and baseball teams. He is also active in 4H and FFA. In his free time, Garrett enjoys hanging out with friends and boating. Next fall Garrett plans to attend college but is undecided on a location.
Tyler Mankse is the son of Jessica and Scott Manske. At AHS, Tyler is a four-sport athlete, involved in football, basketball, track, and baseball. In his free time, he enjoys boating, hanging out with friends, watching good Netflix shows, destroying Miles Goche’s room, hanging out with family, and working out. Tyler plans on playing football in college next year, but he is undecided on the specific school as of now.
Trevon Smith is the grandson of Rose Hoover and Gene Wagner. Trevon plays football at AHS. He keeps busy working when not active in sports. In his free time, he enjoys being with friends, playing video games, and relaxing. Trevon plans to attend college next fall but is undecided as to where.
