Senior Exit Interviews 2022

The Senior Exit Interview is a chance for seniors to reflect on their 13 years of school by talking with members of the AHS staff. Skylar Bronson says, “I am super excited to wrap up my final year at Algona High School.”

The interviews will take place on Tuesday, March 29th, and they will last approximately 15 minutes. You must show up 10 minutes before your scheduled time and be prepared to answer the various questions that are on the Senior Exit Interview sheet.

There are many topics that the interviewers may ask. Some of the topics include: how you got to graduation, what high school has meant to you, how your last four years have helped you prepare, plans after graduation, where you see yourself in 5-10 years, and any other information you would like to share with them. Seniors, remember to shake their hand and make good eye contact to leave a good impression on your interviewers.

Also, when preparing for your senior interview, make sure you are dressed appropriately. Your jeans should not have holes or rips in them. Shirts should not be low cut, a tank top, or a crop top. Make sure you are dressed business casual and your outfit does not draw attention to yourself.

Seniors, make sure you get signed up for a time if you haven’t already done so. Talk to Mrs. Stein or Mr. McLaughlin to get signed up. This is a graduation requirement. This is a very important part of your high school career, to acknowledge your accomplishments. If you have any questions, make sure to talk to Mrs. Stein or Mr. McLaughlin before the interview day of March 29th!
