The Bulldog football team is off to a great start! Currently 3-0, the Bulldogs are hoping to continue their winning streak.
The team started off their season at Emmetsburg on Friday, August 26th. The Bulldogs came away with a win, 39-27. Some highlights from this game include Alex Manske throwing for 180 yards, including three touchdowns. Manske also ran for 104 yards and rushed for one touchdown.
Next up, the Bulldogs hosted Clear Lake, winning 27-16. Here, Reid Louwagie had a great game. Louwagie had eight tackles for a loss and also recorded one interception.
Last week, the Bulldogs traveled to Garner to take on the Cardinals. The Dogs came away with another win, with a final score of 34-7. Porter Reffer had three receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown.
Tonight, the Bulldogs host the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Nighthawks. While the Bulldogs come into the contest with a 3-0 record, the Nighthawks are 1-2. Their last game was a win against United Christian 20-0. Tonight’s matchup will start at 7:00 at the Bulldog Stadium.
