This week’s senior spotlight is Quela Heidelberg. Quela was born and raised in Algona and has attended the Algona Community School District since preschool. Quela and her two brothers, Quelub and Dee, were raised by their mother, Tina Reeves.
Quela has many hobbies in and out of school. Outside of school she spends much of her time singing, working at HyVee, and spending time with her friends. While at school, she is part of the Algona cheer team and mixed choir. Her fondest memory is cheering at last year’s Homecoming football game.
After high school, Quela would like to move on to cosmetology school, but she is unsure where at the moment. She would like everyone to remember, “It’s cool to be kind!”
