There will be a Kindergarten Parent Meeting for future kindergarten parent/guardian(s) on April 28th with two different options on attending. You can attend by zoom at noon or at 5:30 p.m. in person in the Bertha Godfrey Gym. Please enter through the south doors of the school. If you are unsure between Kindergarten and Prep this meeting is important to attend. We will discuss expectations in kindergarten and the curriculum covered. Thank you to Mrs. Crouch's class for coming and presenting their readers theater to the Kindergarten classrooms. They put in a ton of work practicing and it sure showed during their reading of Dr. Seuss' One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish!
We had such a great time celebrating "2's Day!" last month! We had to celebrate 2 days late because of the weather but the students had a blast with their tutus, ties, tie dye, tennis shoes, and tiaras! Check out Facebook for more pictures!

It is starting to warm-up and we will spring ahead with our clocks this weekend. We are not requiring students to wear boots unless they go off of the blacktop, and snow pants are no longer required as long as we don’t get any more snow.
As we move through spring, mornings are usually very chilly, even on the warm days. Please have your students bring jackets and/or sweatshirts, which can be added or taken off depending on the weather. We do not have enough “extras” in the office to supply all the children.

We are looking for ice cream buckets here at Bertha Godfrey! We use them for a variety of purposes around the building and running low. If you have some that you are ready to part with, you can send them with your student to school or drop them off at the office. Thank you!
Late post! The Kindergarten friends celebrated Valentines Day by rotating classrooms and doing a variety of different activities! They had a blast!
