You're invited to a magical performance of *The Nutcracker Ballet*, presented by Ballet Des Moines in partnership with the Haggard-Twgood Charitable Trust! Join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a fantastical journey through the Land of Sweets, featuring stunning costumes, breathtaking choreography, and Tchaikovsky's iconic score. This special performance will showcase 29 talented local dancers, ages 5 to 15, from Algona, Bancroft, Humboldt, and Clarion, alongside professional dancers from Iowa's only resident ballet company. On this Veteran's Day, we at ACSD want to thank all the brave men and women who served our country and fought for our freedom! You have our appreciation and admiration!

On Monday, Nov 11, the Algona MS will present their annual Veteran's Day program. Veterans will be honored & the program is open to the public. Doors open at 9:10 AM & the ceremony starts at 9:30 in the Wilcox PAC. A reception will follow for veterans in attendance.
