ISASP 2023

Students at Lucia Wallace Elementary will be taking the Iowa Statewide Assessment of

Student Progress (ISASP) the week of April 17th. The students will take one online test
each day. Students will be assessed in four different areas: reading, language arts,
writing, and math. The assessments are aligned with the Iowa Core standards and
provide a clear and accurate assessment of student learning outcomes.

In addition to ISASP assessments, we will administer an annual school climate and
culture survey called Conditions for Learning to students in grades 3-12. This survey
administration is required by the state’s plan to meet a federal law called Every Student
Succeeds Act

There are a few things you can do to help your child be successful.
1. Remind your child to take the test seriously.
2. Encourage your child to do their best.
3. Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep.
4. Ensure your child eats a good breakfast to start the day right.
5. Have your child to school on time.

Thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions, please contact me.
