We have been studying life cycles. The third graders got to experience the hatching of chicks thanks to the Ag in the Classroom program. Each class got six eggs in an incubator. They learned about how chicks grow in the eggs over 21 days. They got to candle eggs, watch chicks hatch, and take care of the chicks. They loved reading to them. We would like to give a special thank you to the Ag in the Classroom program.
