Bertha Godfrey Students

We had a great Homecoming week last week! We kicked off the week celebrating with pajama day Monday, Rise/Be Kind shirts and/or crazy socks on Tuesday, Wednesday we had the day off, wore our favorite hat on Thursday, and wrapped it up with spirit day on Friday!

Some members of the band, a few football players, the cheerleaders and the Bulldog came over Friday morning to help get us excited with a pep rally. The students got to listen to 3 of the football players talk about what it means to them to be a Bulldog, they did a few cheers with the cheerleaders, and listened to the band play. Before they left, the high schoolers went around and gave everyone high fives. It was a great time!

We continued the fun into the afternoon and all the students that are here in the afternoon were able to walk in the Homecoming parade! At the end of the route, the students were able to sit and watch the rest of the parade before they walked back to BG. It was a bit chilly but everyone did a great job!

And the cherry on top of everything was the Bulldogs bringing home the win! They took down North Polk with a score of 28-27.
