Just a friendly reminder that July 26 - Aug 2 is the Family Week non-contact period for all Iowa Unified Activity Federation activities. All school facilities should not be used during this time. This is a great opportunity for our students, families, and coaches to have a well-deserved break before we head into the 2026-2027 school year.

The Algona Community School Foundation golf outing, dinner, and silent auction is on July 17. The Foundation has funded over $448,000 in school projects for the 2025-26 year and this is a great way to support them! Learn more by viewing the graphic or PDF.

**The ACSD awards Golden Apples to staff members with 25 years of service. This year's Golden Apple award recipients were Kelly Gisch, Missy Krieps, and James Rotert.

Today, Algona Community School District pauses to remember and honor the men & women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Our schools/offices are closed today as we reflect on the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy.
