Superhero Day didn't look exactly like we hoped it would but the Kindergarten students had a ton of fun traveling around to different stations on Tuesday afternoon. The activities included the parachute, scooters, hula hoop challenges, coloring, and yard games! There was even a brief appearance by Superman! Public encouraged to attend: Food Service Advisory Meeting is set for Tuesday, June 3rd at 12:00pm (noon) in the High School Library. The purpose of this meeting is for parents, students, and staff to provide guidance and feedback on how Taher, our contracted Food Service Management Company, is meeting our District's needs.

On Friday, May 9, we are hosting State Large group contest. We have 2 shifts with multiple positions to be filled to run the contest, PLUS we will be running the concession stand outside at the gateway for our guests as well as the Middle School Track Meet. This weekend is the AHS Spring Play! They will be performing "Leaving Iowa" on Saturday, May 3 at 7pm and Sunday, May 4 at 2pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults, all at the door. Come and support a hardworking & talented cast!
One of the special additions to the menu each month is focused around the "Harvest of the Month." For April it was cherries, featuring meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and cherry brownies!
