Football clothing for the Algona High School 2024 football team is now available for purchase. The profits from this order that go to the football players will help the senior football parents provide meals for the players, coaches, and other football staff members after each away game this fall. Thanks for considering supporting the football players this way! Thanks to Dan Oldenkamp, senior football parent, for the cool clothing designs!

This Memorial Day Weekend, AHS Quiz Bowl traveled south to New Orleans to compete in the National Academic Competition! Between 6 rounds of tough competition, the students were able to explore the city, eat local and traditional foods, and even tour the nearby bayou! We couldn't be more proud of how our students competed and represented the school, and even though the drive was long, it was worth it! Congratulations to Izaha Crawmer, Waverly Espe, Brennan Kajewski, Ace Studer, and Chance Studer! A special THANK YOU to Mandie and Tracy Studer for joining us down in NOLA and for taking us out to dinner and for the snacks for the 18 hour drive!
And a final, very special Thank You to Thomas Struecker. We came into some trouble with the hotel rooms, and without his generous donation, we wouldn't have been able to register and book rooms in time. Thank you to the Algona Community School Foundation for the grant allowing us to fund the hotels along the way down and for the opportunity to be able to fund the experiences to see what New Orleans has to offer!
