What a fun day we had yesterday! The whole school kicked off our reading challenge "Blast Off Into Reading!" Mr. Sudol dressed up as an astronaut and we got to watch a video of a real astronaut reading a story from space! Everyone also traveled to the High School in the morning for a pep rally send off for the boys basketball team who played in the state basketball tournament today. After the pep rally the Kindergarten students were able to stay and watch the 5-12 band performance. It was quite the busy day but so much fun!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday today! The kiddos enjoyed it so much they took to drawing some of their favorite characters outside at recess!
