Don't forget about our Summer Food Service Program for the month of June! Meals are FREE for students. In order to help out with numbers, if you plan to pick up meals for the weekend, let her know by emailing Nicki at nicki.messerly@algona.k12.ia.us or let her know during the week when you are picking up your meal. Anyone is able to come pick up meals regardless, but this will help her have them ready to go and help with wait time.

This Memorial Day, ACSD would like to pay tribute to the heroes who gave everything for our nation. Their courage and sacrifice will always be remembered.
Congratulations to Jennifer Christensen for being selected as the Class of '79 Teacher of the Year! She has been nominated for this award multiple times and ACSD is proud of her dedication to the students she has taught over the years. A well deserved honor!

Algona Community Schools will dismiss one hour early today (May 21st). 2:20 Dismissal for the elementary schools and 2:30 for Middle and High schools.
The last day of school for the 2023-2024 school year will be tomorrow, May 22nd! Elementaries dismiss at 11:15 and the MS/HS dismiss at 11:30. Lunch will NOT be served. Have a great summer!
