Due to the forecast and dangerous wind chill temperatures for tomorrow morning, we are going to cancel classes for Friday, January 23rd. There are also several changes to our events, which I have listed below.
Tonight -
High School Wrestling is on as planned at IFA
7th and 8th grade Basketball vs Webster City is on as planned
9-10 boys basketball vs Spirit Lake will start at 5 pm in the HS GYM
Tonight's High School boys' and girls' basketball games will be varsity-only at PAC. Varsity girls will begin at 6 pm.
Tomorrow -
No Middle School events
JV Wrestling to Humboldt is on as planned
High School basketball vs IFA will be varsity only. Girls' varsity starting at 5 pm.
Saturday -
NCC Boys wrestling at Humboldt is on as planned
HS girls wrestling at Mason City is delayed 1 hour - 11 am start.
HS Large Group Speech at MNW is on as planned.

Bulldog Fans heading to Humboldt for JV and V NCC Wrestling Fri/Sat. Humboldt is CASH ONLY at the gate. Admission is $8 for Adults and $5 for students. Go Bulldogs!
Algona CSD will be 2 Hrs Late tomorrow, January 22nd.
Algona CSD will cancel school today (Jan 21).
Due to school being cancelled last Friday there will be menu changes this upcoming week. Tuesday's lunch will be last Friday's meal and everything else will be pushed back by a day and omitting this upcoming Friday scheduled meal. Stay warm!
Tonight's MS basketball games (vs GHV) and HS basketball games (vs Humboldt) have been postponed.
Algona CSD will now be closed for today (January 16).
Due to icy road conditions, the Algona CSD will be two hours late today (January 16).
A friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 19th due to Staff Development.
Reminder- ACSD is holding a meeting review our Food Service Management Company (Taher). All students, parents, teachers, and administration are welcome to attend the meeting on Wednesday, January 14th at 4pm in the High School Library.
