On Monday, Oct. 28th, the third graders went to Wild Haven with Mr. Young's biology students. They went on a scavenger hunt to find different species of animals (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds), invertebrates, and plants.

Congratulations to Bailey Merkel, Natalie Orban and Ethan Orban for being selected to participate in the 38th annual Opus Honor Choir Festival. Over 2400 students were nominated by their directors for 720 positions in the four Opus Honor Choirs. Selections were made by means of a recorded audition. The 2024 Opus Honor Choirs will perform at 4:00 p.m. November 21st in C.Y. Stephens Auditorium in the Iowa State Center in Ames. The Opus Honor Choir Festival is made possible by the Iowa Choral Directors Association, Inc.
Due to a delivery issue, the lunch menu for Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18 will need to be flip flopped. Thursday will be spaghetti and Friday will be the BBQ chicken legs. Thank you for your understanding.
